Checking into Scholarships and Grants for my Homeschool Teen

When I was in highschool I'd see some grads "win" scholarships. I had always thought these kids were SO smart or lucky that the scholarship and grant organizations actually came looking for them! Only later did I realize that you actually APPLY for your own scholarships and grants. Or more probably, their PARENTS were ambitious and forward-thinking enough to apply FOR their kids.

So here I am, shopping for scholarships and grants for my homeschooled son. This is going to be interesting. I just found this neat resource and it's going to hugely propel my progress in this research project: The best guide to Scholarships and Grants.
